Eight in ten mortgage holders are concerned about the value they are getting, according to a new survey.
The survey, conducted by MyMortgages.ie, found that, despite concern about the value they are receiving, less than one per cent are switching mortgage providers.
Some 22 per cent of those surveyed said they were “hugely concerned” about their mortgage value while 17 per cent said they favour stability over change.
Joey Sheahan, Head of Credit at My Mortgages.ie said: “Change doesn’t have to be scary.”
“It’s concerning to see people losing out on valuable savings for the sake of contacting their lender to enquire about the possibilities.”
